Worldwide COPD challenge discussed
John Walsh, president of both the Alpha-1 Foundation and the COPD Foundation, gives a talk on “COPD Patients: Hope, Fears, and Expectations” at the international COPD symposium held in Beijing, China, in September. Experts from the US, Europe and China shared information and discussed topics related to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), globally and in China. According to the World Health Organization, COPD ranks first among burdens of disease in China.
