Want to learn how to organize an event and raise awareness and funds for Alpha-1 research?
The Alpha-1 Foundation will be hosting a Building Friends for a Cure Training on Sunday, Dec. 5 in Las Vegas, NV. The goal is to teach Alphas, their friends and families how easy it is to become more involved with raising awareness of Alpha-1 and funds for research.
Foundation trainers plan to have those attending walk away with the tools and the confidence they need to raise funds for Alpha-1 research in their communities.
The training will specifically show how to organize a themed dinner, a walk, a golf tournament or a bowling event.
Making a pitch for media coverage and other useful tips on announcing the event will be included.
The training is limited to just 10 people, so it’s important to reserve a spot early.
