Villages COPD support group raises funds for lung disease research
THE VILLAGES, FL — Each week, before Nick Jones addresses members of The Villages Airheads, he begins the meeting with the question: “What do you say, Airheads, how are you doing today?”
Jones, president of the club and Village of Santiago resident, said there is only one acceptable response: “Great.”
The Airheads held a luncheon Friday to kick off their upcoming, second annual Airheads Joyride, a golf cart parade to raise funds for lung-disease research. It will be held Feb. 28 at The Villages Polo Club.
