Ernst & Young names Stern Entrepreneur of Year in Health Sciences for making Talecris "world-class business"

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Lawrence D. Stern, Chairman and CEO, Talecris Biotherapeutics, on Sunday was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2010 national winner in the Health Sciences category.

Ernest & Young honored Stern for growing Talecris into one of the leading plasma therapeutics companies in the world. The award recognizes leaders and visionaries who demonstrate innovation, financial success and personal commitment as they create and build world-class businesses.
