Surgeon General's Family Health Portrait tool collaborates with HealthVault to expand services
U.S. Surgeon General Regina M. Benjamin today announced a collaboration with Microsoft HealthVault that will provide new features and expand access to My Family Health Portrait.
My Family Health Portrait is a free online tool that automatically assembles medical information into a format that can be shared with healthcare providers or other family members.
The Family Health Portrait is one tool suggested by “It’s All in the Family,” the Alpha-1 Foundation’s family testing project.
HealthVault is a personal health application that allows consumers to collect and store their health information online, in a record that can be shared with physicians, family members, pharmacists and a variety of third-party health services.
