New website provides information on donating blood plasma
ANNAPOLIS, Md—The Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association (PPTA) today launched a website to spread awareness about the life-saving benefits of plasma donation. The website features information on plasma donation, how it helps patients with chronic, life-threatening diseases, and provides information to donors on how to find a local plasma donation center.
PPTA designed the site “in an effort to heighten public awareness of the importance of donating plasma.” DonatingPlasma.org is the only industry-wide website that seeks to explain and clarify the plasma donation process.
