Miami Health Alert: Beware of MRSA Infection
Miami-Dade Police Department’s Occupational Health and Safety Unit has issued an alert regarding the recent outbreak of the MRSA bacteria.
Pronounced “Mersa”, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus is a staph infection. It is spread through direct or close contact and is resistant to penicillin.
