Kamada completes safety phase of inhaled alpha-1 protein for Cystic Fibrosis
WEIZMANN SCIENCE PARK, NESS ZIONA, Israel—Kamada, a specialty bio-pharmaceutical company, announced today that it has completed a Phase II Study with aerosolized alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT), delivered via nebulizer, in cystic fibrosis .
Preliminary results indicate that the product has an excellent safety profile, said Kamada CEO David Tsur. Final data should be available by year-end 2008, he said.
