Jackson spokesman calls Alpha-1 claim "total fabrication"
A spokesman for Michael Jackson has denied all allegations with regard to Jackson’s poor health condition.
The singer’s “official and sole spokesperson,” Dr. Tohme Tohme said reports claiming his client suffered from a rare respiratory disease were a “total fabrication”.
The statement, which was issued by Los Angeles firm Scoop Marketing, refers to an interview with writer Ian Halperin published in Britain’s Sunday Express newspaper, in which Halperin says Michael Jackson is very ill and suffers from Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency.
The statement released by the 50-year-old singer’s spokesman urges “legitimate media” to ignore such allegations in the future.
