"I can feel the wind in my hair; you just don't know how great it feels": the obituary of Elwood (Woody) Wagner

Elwood F. (Woody) Wagner, Jr., of Camden, Arkansas, died Tuesday at the age of 57, of a brain tumor.

His wife Marilyn has lung disease due to Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. He wrote his own obituary, about his wife, family, riding his BMW motorcycle, and the other things he loved.

His obituary begins:

“I can feel the wind in my hair; I can see the birds in the sky! You just don’t know how great it feels. You probably saw me buzzing to work in the mornings on my BMW until I got sick with this dang brain tumor, I am so happy to be free and able to ride again.”

His funeral services are today.
