Golf tournament to benefit transplant patients at Shands/University of Florida transplant center
ZELLWOOD STATION, FL — The Orlando Lung Transplant Group will be hosting the Longwood Rehab Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 2. The tournament will be in support of Shands Hospital (affiliated with the University of Florida) transplant patients who need housing assistance after their transplant.
All transplant patients, golfers, friends, family, and neighbors are encouraged to come golf and support the cause. An $80 donation includes greens fees, cart, range balls, buffet lunch, a putting contest, and a chance to win prizes.
The charity golf tournament will take place at Zellwood Station Golf Club, 2126 Spillman Drive. Check-in and putting contest will be between 7:30-8:15, and there will be a shotgun start at 8:30. There will also be a silent and live auction.
