Alpha-1 Foundation president to co-chair session at First World Conference of COPD Patients in Rome
Alpha-1 Foundation President and CEO John Walsh will co-chair a session of the First World Conference of COPD Patients in Rome, Italy, June 14.
Walsh, also the President of the COPD Foundation, has genetic COPD due to Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency.
The conference will feature 23 experts in COPD patient care from all over the world, along with COPD patients themselves, educators, activists, and public health officials. Attendees can also participate in the endorsement and dissemination of the global COPD Patient’s Bill of Rights.
