Dance under the stars and celebrate life on April 30
MIAMI, FL – Come “Celebrate Life” with a fun-filled day of activities like golfing and dancing under the stars, while raising awareness and funds for Alpha-1 research at the Alpha-1 Foundation’s 10th annual Celebration of Life on Friday, April 30.
Last year, more than 20 foursomes played in the Celebration of Life golf tournament and over 200 people attended the evening dinner.
The event will be at the Indian Creek Country Club, beginning with the golf tournament. Registration and lunch begin at 11 a.m., with tee-off for the tournament at 1 p.m. An awards ceremony for the golf tournament will follow.
A cocktail reception and silent auction will begin at seven o’clock. The evening will finish off with dancing under the stars, with music provided by Private Stock Band.
Celebration of Life has become an annual highlight of the Foundation’s continuing effort to raise awareness and funds for Alpha-1 research and programs. This year, funds will be doubled by a generous matching grant from Talecris Biotherapeutics.
