CSL names US leader executive director, chief operating officer
Pharmaceutical and blood plasma company CSL has restructured its top management, but Brian McNamee will remain as chief executive and managing director for at least three years.
McNamee, who has been at the helm of the company for 19 years, has an open-ended rolling contract and was expected to continue as chief executive for the “foreseeable future”, the company said yesterday.
US-based Peter Turner has been made chief operating officer and joins the CSL board as executive director. He will continue to head CSL Behring, based in Pennsylvania.
