COPD/Alpha-1 Education Day Oct. 27 in NYC
“Inspiration through Education” will be the theme for the COPD & Alpha-1 Education Day scheduled to take place this Saturday, Oct. 27 in New York City. Gerard M. Turnino, MD of St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital will host the event.
Among the speakers will be Ann Webster, PhD on “Taking Control: Mind/Body Medicine Strategies”; James P. Kiley, PhD on COPD and the National Institutes of Health; and Robert A. Sandhaus, MD, PhD and John Walsh of the Alpha-1 Foundation; Marlene Erven of the Alpha-1 Association. The Education Day will begin a 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:20 p.m. at the New York Academy of Medicine.
