Conference will examine link between genetics, disease
BETHESDA, MD—The 11th Annual Meeting of the National Coalition for Health Professional Education in Genetics (NCHPEG) will be held in Bethesda Sept. 4-5.
Major topics at the conference will include the links between genetics and infectious diseases, genetics and psychiatric diseases, and the impact of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act, which will take effect in 2009.
NCHPEG, established in 1996, aims to promote health professional education and access to information about advances in human genetics.
The early registration deadline is Friday, Aug. 8.
