Wyoming Alpha seeks help for lung transplant

CHEYENNE, WY – Cheyenne resident Jeff Stewart has been battling Alpha-1, a genetic condition that’s resulted in Jeff developing severe emphysema end stage lung disease.
Stewart said, “Everyday is a fight for me.”
In February 2004 at the age of 34 Jeff Stewart was diagnosed with Alpha-1 lung disease.
He was once an active man, playing baseball and running cross country, even playing guitar in a band. He said, “I was very active, love sports.”
But now, “Taking a shower, walking the stairs its always a fight. I’m constantly trying to catch my breath.”
