Daytona workshop offers patients and families free tips for coping with COPD, Alpha-1
DAYTONA BEACH — The COPD Foundation and the Florida COPD Coalition are teaming up March 25 to offer COPD patients, family members, and friends the opportunity to discover more.
COPD patients will be able to learn health tips from experts and what is new in research.
Health professionals will also cover the relationship between COPD and Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. Counseling for Alpha-1 will be provided during the workshop’s break.
Participants will also be able to meet others living with COPD and have the chance to share their story.
The workshop takes place from 9 am until 1 pm at the Hilton Daytona Beach Ocean Walk Village Hotel. A free lunch will be provided to all in attendance.
