ATS Foundation video quotes patients, physicians, researchers on benefits of pulmonary research, education, training
The Foundation of the American Thoracic Society (ATS) premiered their new video, “A Foundation for the Future” at an inaugural dinner on May 16, in San Diego. Through the voices of patients, advocates, and physician-scientists, the video was produced to help raise awareness of the benefits of the ATS research, training and education programs.
The personal stories of these advocates prove why increasing funding for these programs and supporting the work of young investigators striving to establish their careers in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine is so important.
