ATS annual conference May 15-20 in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA—The annual conference of the American Thoracic Society (ATS) will be held in San Diego May 15-20, 2009. The conference will feature more than 400 sessions on the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory, critical care and sleep disorders.
In addition, more than 5,500 original research abstracts will be presented, giving attendees new perspectives on the clinical, basic science and translational discoveries that will shape the future of adult and pediatric respiratory care.
Among the topics to be covered are asthma, COPD, lung cancer, obstructive sleep apnea, pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, ARDS, and sarcoidosis. The Advance Program with registration form will be available in January 2009 at www.thoracic.org.
