Arrr ya One? Clever Alpha-1 awareness T-shirt design wins Facebook contest
Jennifer Faull of Grove City, PA, won the Alpha-1 Foundation “design your own T-shirt” contest last month. This is one of a series of monthly contests being hosted on the Foundation Facebook page, Alphafriend
Her T-shirt design was inspired by an inside joke she shares with her family.
“Whenever we get mad at each other, we make a hook with our finger and say, ‘arrrgghhh’ to look like a pirate. I’m always leaning towards the pirate thing, so I thought it would be cute to make it into a T-shirt design,” Faull said.
Her one-of-a-kind T-shirt design will be printed and turned into a T-shirt for her to wear to raise awareness of Alpha-1.
The front of the shirt features a Jolly Roger skull and the phrase, “Alpha Pirate. Arrr ya One?”
The back, has the phrase, “Know yer Genes” and the Foundation’s website.
