Alpha Pack hosts screening at Milwaukee "Liver Walk"
MILWAUKEE, WI – Join the Wisconsin Alpha Pack Saturday, Aug. 8 at the American Liver Foundation Liver Walk at Veterans Park as they help raise awareness about Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency.
If you’ve been having trouble breathing, find that your prescribed inhalers don’t seem to help much, you can’t kick that nasty cough, or if you have elevated liver enzymes or otherwise unexplained liver disease, you should get tested for Alpha-1, especially if you have a family history of liver or lung disease.
Stop by the Wisconsin’s Alpha Pack booth, under the main tent, for free, confidential screening between 8:30 am and 1 pm.
Veterans Park is at 1010 N. Lincoln Memorial Drive, Milwaukee.
